These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Cashflow, including our website, applications, dashboards, APIs, integrations, reports and related services.
By creating an account or using Cashflow, you agree to these Terms.
1.About Cashflow
Cashflow provides technology-enabled financial management and reporting functionality, including:
- Cash-flow reporting;
- Receipts and payments tracking;
- Loan tracking;
- Debtor and creditor ageing;
- Accounting data synchronization;
- Reconciliation;
- Financial reporting;
- Schedule III / Ind AS 7 related reporting functionality;
- Related workflow and analytical tools.
2.Eligibility and Authority
You must have the legal capacity and authority to use Cashflow.
If you use Cashflow on behalf of a company, CA firm, organization or client, you represent that you have authority to:
- Create or manage the account;
- Upload or connect relevant information;
- Authorize integrations;
- Permit Cashflow to process the information for the requested services.
3.Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must:
- Use strong and unique credentials;
- Not share passwords;
- Maintain appropriate user permissions;
- Immediately notify Cashflow of suspected unauthorized access;
- Ensure users with access to your organization account are authorized.
You are responsible for activities performed through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.
4.Customer Data
“Customer Data” means information submitted, uploaded, synchronized or otherwise provided by the customer through Cashflow.
Customer Data may include financial, accounting, business, transaction and personal information.
You retain your rights in Customer Data.
You grant Cashflow the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, analyze and display Customer Data solely for providing and securing the services and fulfilling authorized instructions.
5.Confidentiality
Cashflow will treat Customer Data as confidential and will implement reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect it.
Customer Data will not be used for unrelated commercial purposes or sold to third parties.
Confidential information may be disclosed when:
- Authorized by the customer;
- Necessary to provide the services;
- Required by law or lawful governmental authority;
- Necessary to investigate security incidents;
- Necessary to protect legal rights or safety.
6.Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Ensuring the accuracy of information submitted;
- Maintaining appropriate authorization for uploaded information;
- Obtaining required permissions from clients, employees or other data subjects;
- Maintaining secure credentials;
- Reviewing generated reports before relying on them;
- Maintaining appropriate accounting and statutory records;
- Ensuring that use of Cashflow complies with applicable professional, contractual and legal obligations.
7.Financial and Accounting Disclaimer
Cashflow is a technology platform.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a written agreement, Cashflow does not constitute:
- Audit advice;
- Tax advice;
- Legal advice;
- Investment advice;
- Accounting certification;
- Professional assurance;
- A substitute for review by a qualified professional.
8.Third-Party Integrations
Cashflow may integrate with third-party accounting, ERP or CRM platforms.
Third-party services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Cashflow is not responsible for changes, outages, restrictions or failures caused by a third-party service outside Cashflow’s reasonable control.
9.Acceptable Use
You must not use Cashflow to:
- Gain unauthorized access to another account;
- Circumvent security controls;
- Upload malware or malicious code;
- Attempt to disrupt the service;
- Conduct unauthorized security testing;
- Reverse engineer the service except where expressly permitted by law;
- Use the service for unlawful activities;
- Access information belonging to another customer without authorization.
10.Intellectual Property
Cashflow and its licensors retain all rights in:
- Software;
- Application architecture;
- User interface;
- Branding;
- Documentation;
- Source code;
- Design elements;
- Proprietary processes and technology.
Except for rights expressly granted under these Terms, no intellectual-property rights are transferred to you.
11.Customer Data and Aggregated Information
Cashflow will not use identifiable Customer Data for unrelated commercial purposes.
Where legally permitted, Cashflow may create aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify a customer or individual for purposes such as service analytics, reliability and product improvement.
12.Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable and secure services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Service availability may be affected by:
- Maintenance;
- Infrastructure failures;
- Internet connectivity;
- Third-party service outages;
- Security incidents;
- Force majeure events.
13.Suspension
Cashflow may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to:
- Protect the platform;
- Prevent unauthorized access;
- Investigate security incidents;
- Prevent unlawful use;
- Comply with legal requirements;
- Address material violations of these Terms.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
14.Termination
You may stop using Cashflow or request account termination in accordance with your subscription or service agreement.
Following termination, Customer Data will be handled according to the applicable retention and deletion requirements described in the Privacy Policy and any applicable customer agreement.
15.Security and Data Protection
Cashflow maintains security measures appropriate to the nature of the information processed.
Our security practices are described in the Security Policy.
Where applicable, processing of personal data is governed by applicable Indian data-protection legislation and rules, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.
16.Changes to the Service
Cashflow may modify, improve, replace or discontinue features from time to time.
Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law or contractual commitments.
17.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will be published on this page and will include an updated effective or last-updated date.
18.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cashflow will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Any additional liability limitations applicable to a specific customer may be set out in a separate written agreement.
19.Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, customers are responsible for claims arising from:
- Unauthorized use of their account;
- Customer Data supplied without the required authority;
- Violation of these Terms;
- Unlawful use of the service.
20.Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction and dispute-resolution mechanism specified in the applicable customer agreement or, where no separate agreement applies, the courts having appropriate jurisdiction under applicable law.
